Research interest

One of the major challenges in current medicine lies in understanding cancer resistance to modern therapies in solid tumors—this phenomenon is highly associated with tumor heterogeneity. My research interest is to study metabolic tumor heterogeneity with cutting-edge non-invasive hybrid imaging, highly translatable smart metabolic sensors, and in-house developed machine learning techniques. We aim to predict the tumor phenotype, genesis, and modulate the tumor microenvironment metabolically.
