Research interest

My research centers on the potential of immunotherapies in solid tumors, with a particular emphasis on the interactions between immune cells, more specifically CD4⁺ and CD8⁺ lymphocytes, and melanoma cells within the tumor microenvironment. I aim to characterize the functional capacity of these immune cells in mediating tumor cell elimination. In addition, I investigate the role of noncanonical NF-κB signaling in premalignant inflammation and tumorigenesis. To explore these processes at the single-cell level, I use advanced imaging techniques such as live-cell imaging, light-sheet microscopy, and intravital multiphoton microscopy, as well as cell characterization methods including flow cytometry and CODEX.
