Research interest

Immunotherapy is a promising strategy in cancer treatment. However, it has shown limited success in many solid tumors. My primary research focus is on elucidating the role of macrophages in this therapeutic strategy to 1) improve tumoral response to immunotherapy and 2) to allow the discovery of novel imaging biomarkers in murine cancer models. To do so, I apply a multimodal, multiparametric and hybrid imaging approach, which for example includes PET/MRI, ¹³C-lactate hyperpolarized MRI and optical imaging.
