Research interest

My interest is to study tumour metabolism and microenvironment through a hybrid imaging approach, which makes use of PET/MRI, innovative contrast agents and hyperpolarized compounds, like 13C-pyruvate. The aim is to contribute to the development of all-in-one sensors for different cancer diseases, that may allow non-invasive diagnosis, staging and prediction of response to therapy.
