Research interest

My project is entitled “Visualizing Hallmarks of Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) through Tailored Hyperpolarized Positron Emission Tomography/ Magnetic Resonance Imaging”. This project aims to develop new molecular markers to non-invasively visualize the functional and prognostic features of HCC without the need for ionizing radiation. Through the development of new agents and tailored imaging strategies, our goal is to monitor HCC metabolism, pH, oxidative stress, hypoxia, and tumor microenvironment. Ultimately, we hope to use these newly developed molecular markers in patients suffering from this disease.
