Research interest

My research interest focuses on understanding tumor aggressiveness and heterogeneity by multimodal imaging. Currently, as part of that focus, I am developing software tools for multimodal and hybrid imaging techniques (e.g., MRI, hyperpolarized MRSI, PET, and intravital microscopy) in order to quantify metabolic markers in the tumor microenvironment—a multi-team effort. The combination and analysis of the different imaging techniques provide complex information profiles of the tumors that can help in understanding tumor response to therapy and resistance.
