Research interest
As a clinical scientist my interests lie in both advancing preclinical research as well as improving clinical health care. After conducting research on inflammatory processes during my MD thesis at the WSIC I am now focusing on inflammation driven cancer and immunotherapy. My current projects involving research on the carcinogenesis of hepatocellular carcinoma, the in vivo characterization of tumors like prostate cancer as well as secondary and tertiary lymphatic organs under immunotherapy. As a resident in Nuclear Medicine I am also heavily involved in the clinical translation of successful preclinical projects
