Research interest

The focus of my doctoral thesis is to investigate the development and dynamics of ectopic lymphoid structures (ELS) in chronic inflammation, such as in rheumatoid arthritis. To this end, I aim to develop a novel PET tracer for the in vivo detection of ectopic lymphoid structures. Subsequently, the PET tracer will be validated in an experimental rheumatoid arthritis model, and the formation of ELS in vivo will be quantitatively assessed.
