Research interest

The focal point of my research revolves around the powerful synergy achieved by a combined viro-immunotherapy, consisting of antigen-specific T-helper cells, immune checkpoint inhibitors, and oncolytic viruses. In response to the challenges posed by the heterogeneous and hypoxic tumor microenvironment, I have broadened the scope of my research to encompass a deeper exploration of modulating the tumor microenvironment.

Simultaneous Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) facilitates non-invasive and longitudinal tracking of specific immune cell populations, enabling a comprehensive exploration of the intricate dynamics among the immune system, the tumor and its microenvironment. Moreover, Chemical Exchange Saturation Transfer (CEST)-MRI offers a unique avenue to explore in vivo pH variations within the tumor microenvironment throughout the course of treatment which I implement in my scientific investigations.
