Research interest

My research focuses on the development of new imaging probes to explore the functional role of the targeted biomolecules in physiological and pathological pathways. I am especially interested in the consequences of proteolytic processing and other posttranslational protein modifications on immunity. The broad and interdisciplinary expertise and excellent infrastructure within my group gives me the chance to employ state-of-the-art organic synthesis, radiolabeling and imaging techniques to synthesize and characterize new molecular probes.
