High tumor perfusion is associated with a higher tumor grade and a poorer prognosis. There are several perfusion imaging techniques with application of contrast agent (e.g. T2*-weighted dynamic susceptibility contrast imaging or T1-weighted dynamic contrast enhanced imaging) and without application of contrast agent (arterial spin labeling).

Goal of the current research is to compare the different techniques in tumor patients to identify possible differences and maybe complementary information to identify the best imaging strategy in tumor patients.
